Wood Fired Thermosyphon Systems

Wood Fired systems are a great option in winter as you can heat your home with your wood fired heater or stove and also heat your hot water at the same time with low running costs. The water is heated in a boiler or ‘wetback’ in the wood fired stove. As the water heats it naturally rises and circulates between the wood stove and storage tank in the ceiling providing plenty of hot water. The water can also be pressurised if ‘a coil in the tank’ is selected and the ceiling tank can also have an electric boost for when the wood fire is not used during warmer weather. This can be a great option for off grid solar electric systems. Different tank sizes are available to suit demand.
