Solar Hot Water
Solar hot water systems are an excellent energy saving option if replacing an existing gas or electric system. Roof mounted flat panel or evacuated tubes systems are available which absorb energy from the sun and heat the water directly in the panels or tubes which naturally circulates through thermosyphoning into the roof or ceiling mounted storage tank. Water can also be heated via a manifold which tubes are inserted into on the roof with the heated water circulating to a ground storage tank via a small low energy hot water circulating pump.
